The workshop runs from 9.30am - 4.00pm and major areas covered include:
- Understanding the legislation and officer obligations in regards to key planning and reporting documents
- Learning major accounting concepts and financial terms
- Undertaking effective budgeting, monitoring, forecasting and reporting
The workshop is delivered by Mark Davies, a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors. Mark held a number of roles in Local Government and has also worked with Local Government Victoria in the design, development and implementation of Local Government Performance Reporting.
