About last year's event
The 2022 Women's Network Dinner was held on 9 November with guest speaker and inclusion specialist, Div Pillay.

Women's Network Dinner Special Guest Speaker, Div Pillay

Div Pillay is one of AFR's 100 Women of Influence and an experienced and respected diversity and inclusion practitioner, leader, researcher and advocates with over 25 years in the trade.

Her focus on race and cultural inclusion is propelled by her personal experience of living under racially segregated apartheid laws before migrating to Australia, backed up by her background in behavioural psychology.

Div leads MindTribes and social enterprise, Culturally Diverse Women but is also the Chair of the D&I Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce, Australia and is a Board Director at VicHealth. Prior to founding MindTribes in 2012, Div held senior human resource leader roles, working across Africa, Australia, and Asia. Her well-recognised impact saw her named as one of two Australians in a global list of 25 influential leaders by the world’s largest business education alliance in 2021.

Delegates traced her career journey with valuable insights while learning how to create systemic change within their own councils to encourage greater cultural inclusiveness for women.
