10549NAT - Certificate IV in Risk Management Essentials

A broad-based Certificate IV program aimed at risk management and business continuity professionals or those aspiring to fill these roles, this course will broaden participants’ risk management qualifications with the skills necessary to manage risk in any context.

The program is fully accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

The Certificate IV in Risk Management Essentials is made up of six core units:

    BSBPMG429 Apply project stakeholder engagement techniques 
    BSBOPS403 Identify risk and apply risk management processes
    BSBXTW401 Lead and facilitate a team
    PSPGEN027 Gather and analyse information
    NAT10862001 Design and implement a plan for the integration of risk management principles into a business unit
    NAT10862002 Respond to the findings of a risk management audit


Format & Assessment
The program is run across two modules, each with assessment activities, including:

  • Conduct a maturity assessment on the risk management framework for their organisation
  • Develop a Risk Management Plan
  • Develop a Risk Register for an organisation
  • Assess the effectiveness of current controls

Templates are provided for assessments and participants can expect to take a total of 20 to 30 hours to complete assessments.

6 days prior the workshop: no refund available, however substitute participants are welcome.
A substitute delegate is encouraged to attend in place of a cancellation.
