Induction to Local Government

Our Induction to Local Government program provides an overview to Local Government and the important role it plays.

It is designed for people who are new to Local Government or those who want to improve their knowledge of Council governance.

About the program

The one day program is held at different metropolitan and regional Councils throughout the year.

Tailored sessions are also offered for individual or groups of Councils.

It is delivered by former Council Chief Executive Officers who understand the sector and the complexities faced by people working in it.
