About the scholarships

To help support women working in small rural Councils to access professional development opportunities, each year we offer scholarships to cover the costs associated with them attending our Women's Professional Development Forum and Women's Network Dinner.

The scholarships cover the cost of attending, accommodation and travel to these events to assist women working in small rural Councils who would not normally be able to attend due to the cost, time and travel involved.

The feedback from the women who have received the scholarships has been overwhelmingly positive. They were all grateful to our sponsors for giving them the opportunity to take up this valuable professional development opportunity.

The cost of each scholarship is $1000 plus GST and there are a range of benefits associated with them.

We thank the following Councils and LGPro Corporate Partners who have given their support;
