The WebNetwork of Victorian Councils is pleased to be joining LGPro and looks forward to sharing its knowledge and experience with other groups and members.
The WebNetwork group currently meets four times a year with various guest speakers, networking and discussion. The group consists of 176 members who work in an online environment in IT, Online Communications and consists of specialists in intranets, websites and social media. The group has been running now for over three years and provides an opportunity for networking, gaining skills and support, and sharing of new developments.
Working in an online environment is a constantly changing and challenging space and an exciting area in which to become a specialist and to increase your knowledge of this an expanding field.
The group has a very active Google Group where members share knowledge about online topics like social media, Web 2.0, technology solutions & software, online communications issues and Enterprise 2.0 developments.
