The LGPro Planning & Urban Development SIG has been established to:

- create a network of senior Planning and Urban Development officers to explore the sector wide strategic issues
-develop professional development to address these and to provide a representative local government sector voice regarding planning priorities for the sector
-share knowledge and provide support
